Job Responsibilities

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collection customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bi-Lingual is a big plus (English/Tagalog or Spanish/English)

Pulsar Solar Sales Consultant will provide effective and engaging conversations with prospective customers to educate them on the benefits of our residential and commercial solar services and programs. You are the resident expert in all things solar. Your passion will exude confidence in all you do. You must always think of your customer first and deliver a consultative sales approach by giving a high-quality, ethical and fun experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage prospective customers, educate them about Pulsar’s services and product offerings, discuss benefits and answer questions
  • Collaborate with team members to confirm solar appointments
  • Actively contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating and maintaining professionally amicable relationships
  • Effectively present and sell the entire Pulsar Solar eco-system
  • Display creative problem-solving in presenting solutions (financial, technical, lifestyle, practical) to customers considering going solar.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a proven track record to meet or exceed goals
  • Self-starting an entrepreneur with exceptional time management skills and great attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Strong sense of team mentality and culture
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends and travel to customer’s location
  • Must obtain and maintain all required state-mandated licensing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (or Google Apps) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and safe driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Candidates in the following states must have or obtain appropriate licensing for Solar Sales:

  • Maryland
  • Washington, DC

Sales licensing process must be initiated upon offer acceptance. Pulsar will provide guidance and monetary assistance in obtaining license
